Oh, the cuteness from this recent Kansas City newborn photography session! The little man slept awesome and as I was photographing him, I knew we were all going to love his images. We did some beautiful parent/baby images, some of my standard poses and wraps and then a few images that had special meaning and significance to his wonderful parents!

Of course we had to do a Kansas City Royals themed newborn picture! After all, when he was in the studio for his session, the Royals were making a run at the World Series! And we all know how that turned out….. It’s good to be a Royal baby in Kansas city right now {wink}

The yellow blanket he’s wrapped in above, was his dad’s favorite blanket as a child! Seeing that made me think about making sure I hang onto my kids’ favorite blankets so that they can do the same with their own children someday. Love the sentimental props!

I find this one tremendously special. That green picture next to him? That’s his very, very first portrait… as an embryo! I love that he’ll have this picture in his baby book, as a reminder of all his parents went through (especially his mom – needles, ouch!) in order to have him.

And finally the Nintendo! Definitely my first time ever shooting with a gaming system, but it was so fun! I mean seriously – he rocked this!
If you’re expecting and live in the Kansas City area, I’d love to send you my information book about my photography services! Just get in touch via the “Contact” button here on the website.
