Last Thursday evening I had a mighty special session. Not only was the little boy one of my very first sessions last summer, but he and his family have been through a whole lot this spring and summer. His grandparents were visiting from Texas and hired me to capture some multi-generation pictures, and I was happy to oblige!
This past spring, this sweet little boy started having seizures. Not just one or two, but sometimes 10+ in a day. The family has spent lots of time at the children’s hospital, tried many kinds of medicines and now have little G on a restrictive diet (which is helping to control the seizures – hooray!). They have a diagnosis of Doose Syndrome, which is a rare form of Epilepsy. The strength and faith of this family has left those of us watching just in awe. If you feel so led, please say a little prayer for G and his family! He’s such a sweet boy and I know his mom and dad appreciate the love, support and prayers.
I’m not as boring as this picture makes me look! I just happened to take this at the right (or wrong) time, and it cracks me up that it looks like I put him to sleep.
Monica SAbsolutely lovely pics! Praying for this little family! Hugs!
