What A Year!

One year ago today, on June 14, 2011, I launched Faces You Love Photography. I had three almost-4 year olds and a 5 month old – clearly I was crazy! I figured it would be a fun little side project and probably about the time my boys started Kindergarten (not happening until fall of 2013) business would be picking up enough to actually make this a meaningful business.

Know what happened instead?

You all blew me away with requests for sessions and referring me to friends!

In the last year:

I’ve held 71 sessions.

I’ve improved and stretched my photography skills, and look forward to more improvement & stretching in years to come!

I had a graphic designer make me a fancy logo.

I’ve moved on to a new style of website.

I’ve gone through my first computer and camera upgrades.

I’m learning how to pace myself, for the sake my sleep needs and family needs.

I’ve annoyed my husband with the growing pile of props in our garage.

I’ve invested in some backdrops and floor drops for in home sessions.

I’ve reconnected with friends and made new friends!

Bottom line, it has been an awesome first year of business and I’m hoping the next year is even better. Thank you all, for supporting a small business. My family and I appreciate it so much! To show my gratitude to my past clients and those who have sessions booked for the coming months, I thought I’d offer a little giveaway!
