It’s no secret, when looking through my shares on the Facebook or Instagram page, that the majority of my families with older children choose to have their Kansas City photo session outdoors. I get it – wide open spaces, golden light (when scheduled right at the end of the day), pretty scenery… it’s all so appealing!
There are some serious perks to having your session in my spacious south Kansas City studio though! No squinting. No worrying about whether or not the background will look good on your own walls. No worrying about whether it’ll be hot or cold. Convenient places to change clothes (giving more variety to your session, which is extra nice for an album layout). I really could go on and on!
While families can absolutely do a studio session in more casual clothes, I have to say that I really love the dressed up vibe this family went with!
