Sweet Smiles

I have to share a little backstory here, before I show you some of my favorite images from our session last weekend. I had the privilege of first photographing this sweet girl when she was 9 months old, which was 9 months ago. At her 9 month session she had a bit of a cold, was probably teething a bit, and not in the mood to smile. We got a couple of little grins out of her, but most of the final images were serious, serious faces. Thankfully, she looks adorable even when serious 😉

Fast forward a few months and she and her cousin came for one of my fall mini sessions (which are currently being booked, by the way. Info here.) and she again, did not smile! Again, very cute but serious pictures… Boy did I want to see the smiles though!

This last weekend I took her 18 month pictures and some family pictures as well…. Guess what? SHE SMILED! A lot! Oh, how I love these pictures! These are just some of my favorites from the session. Enjoy!
