Location: As in years past, this annual event will happen at the beautiful Gather at Red Cedar Gardens in Stilwell, KS. If you haven’t been there before, you’re in for a treat; one year someone said it was like being in a Hallmark movie!
Dates: Saturday, November 22nd and Sunday, November 23rd
Prices
Classic Experience $179 – Up to 10 minutes around the fire pit with Santa, and 3 digital images of choice from your gallery. Session is for up to 7 people – if you have more than 7, you must book two back to back spots to allow enough time.
Luxe Experience $390 – 20 minutes around the fire pit with Santa, offering a truly relaxing and customized visit with Santa! There will be extra special touches (last year we made it snow!), and your session includes 5 digitals from your gallery, a beautiful glass ornament with your favorite photo on it, and 25 Christmas cards. Session is for up to 10 people.
FAQ
Will it be the same Santa this year?
Yes! Obviously we have to the real Santa!
Can we use the digitals to make prints or cards?
Absolutely! Any digital included with your fee, or purchased as an extra, includes a print release. There will also be a few card options in your gallery that you can purchase from me, to save you a step and time!
Can we bring extra family members with us (Grandparents, cousins, etc.)?
Yes, but if you’ll have more than 7 people at a Classic session you will need to book 2 back to back spots in order to give us enough time to accommodate you. If booking the Luxe session then you may have up to 10 people.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes! Dogs are more than welcome, we just ask that you please keep them leashed from the time you get out of the car until your time around the fire pit. And if your pup is bolter, maybe keep them leashed even when with Santa 😉
Can we take pictures ourselves?
This gets a mostly “no” from me…. We ask that you not try to take pictures of your own, because kids tend to look to the camera being held by a parent instead of mine, and then I struggle to get eye contact for the pictures you’ve already paid for. We always welcome behind the scenes stuff being posted on social media (especially when you tag Faces You Love and Gather in the posts) though!
Can we hop into a picture too?
YES! You are always welcome to hang out around the fire for the whole thing or just a single shot at the end!
Can we take a photo or two without Santa in it?
No, these are strictly with Santa pictures! If you’re looking for an updated family or child portrait, I would be happy to set up a session with you (and that usually earns you a spot at my free Client Santa days).
I have a child or family member who is medically fragile and can’t be around smoke… is there an option for me?
If this is you, please mention this during booking or reply to one of the emails I’ll be sending between now and your session. I am more than happy to pull you all (including Santa) away from the fire pit to take some beautiful photos!
I have a baby who isn’t sitting up yet, can we still come?
Of course! Santa is always happy to hold a baby!
What’s the plan if it rains?
While we had a Plan B that worked just fine in 2023 (it did finally rain on us), neither one of us LOVED it. We now have a better Plan B option – something comfortable and magical! Really though, let’s just cross those fingers and hope for mild weather the whole weekend (or snow, like last year)!
