Kansas City Spring Mini Sessions
Spring has sprung here in Kansas City, and now is the perfect time to update those family or child portraits! To make it even more perfect, I’ve decided to host one night of mini-sessions, and make it a flat rate including some digitals (something I never do!), and the sessions will be a fundraiser for something near and dear to me! Win, win, win!
the cause:
A much needed playground update at the elementary school my boys currently attend, and daughter will attend next year, is the benefactor of these mini-sessions. The kids at their school have been working hard to raise funds for the overhaul and are getting so very, very close! ($40,000 has been the goal, and that includes having volunteers install it.)
Below is a picture of the playground for 2nd-5th graders, and as you can see, it definitely needs to be replaced ASAP. The playground is approximately 30 years old, so it’s not a surprise that many pieces have broken and been removed in the last couple of years.

Something needs to be done, right?! So let’s top off their account with a bit more cash and be a part of the project!
All Mini-Session fees from this event will go straight to the playground fund, which means a minimum of $1,500!
50% of any additional print/digital orders will also go to the fund.
the price:
$250 – for immediate family only
what’s included:
20 minute session
5 digital images, with print release
gallery of 8-10 images to pick from
sessions proofed and ordered online
ability to add more digitals and/or prints from the a la carte menu, if you wish
(with another 50% of order going to playground fund)

Sign up by clicking the Contact button here on the website! Pre-payment of the $250 session fee is what will hold your mini-session spot. As times are paid for, they will be marked off above. Should the date fill, I will start a wait list.
If this playground project tugs at your heart, but you don’t really need or want pictures right now, there is a GoFundMe page set up that you’re welcome to give to! Or, you can also always contact me about donating via check.
Thanks so much for helping out! I’m excited to see this multi-year playground quest come to end!
