Late last winter (ok, and into the spring), Kansas City enjoyed some awesome snowfalls! I’ll confess to grumbling when it continued to fall even on my birthday in May, but that’s beside the point. In February it was a blast to photograph people in! Because of how fun it was last year, I’m hoping for more Winter Wonderland Mini Sessions!

What: 15-20 minute long session in the snow!
When: Whenever there’s adequate snow cover.
How Much: $85 including an 8×12 metal print ($52 value)
A few more details….
* I have several locations in mind for these, but they all will require a decent snow-cover in order to look amazing. Hopefully, it’ll snow several times and I can rotate through them!
* You will receive an online proofing gallery of approximately 10-15 images. This gallery will remain online for just two weeks, and will be the way you order prints.
* Payment will not be collected until you arrive for the session. By doing it this way, no one will feel like they “have” to continue driving if roads turn out to be worse than expected. All I ask is for a heads up that you’re not coming after all!
How will this work?
When it snows, and it looks like it will be enough to give us awesome pictures (in other words – no grass sticking up through an inch of snow!), I’ll send out an e-mail blast to all who asked to be on the list. Hopefully I’ll be able to send it 12+ hours before the session, but I guarantee it’ll be at least 4 hours before. The sessions might happen on a weekday or weekend – it all depends on when the snow comes and what my schedule looks like!
In the e-mail, I’ll list the location and start time. If you decide you’d like to take part, simply reply to the e-mail or send me a text (my cell # will be in the e-mail). The first 4 to respond are “in”! If, a few hours before the sessions are to start, I still don’t have 4 participants, I’ll open it up to the Facebook and Twitter crowds.
Sessions will happen in the order people arrive at the location. Because I’m limiting these to 4 sessions, your wait shouldn’t be too long.
Just for coming out and taking part, you’ll get an 8×12 metal print of your favorite image. Why the metals? Because I think the clean, fresh look of snow looks exceptionally awesome on the metal! Other prints, digital images and products may be ordered at 20% off as well.
