Now that I’m entering a significantly slower time of year, I find myself with a bit more time to play catch-up here and tackle some of those “I should do _____” items on my to-do lists!
This sweet, perfect little guy visited my Kansas City studio back at the beginning of September, at already 7 weeks old (he was born about a month early). He slept beautifully, as you can see, and he still let me curl him into a couple of my favorite poses despite being so used to being out in the world.
While the ideal still is for parents to book me 2-3 months before the baby comes, this is yet another perfect example that all is not lost if you don’t do that, and even holds true if you don’t think to contact a photographer until the baby is already several weeks old! We might have to adjust expectations, but I will always get you beautiful images of your baby.
