While much of my Kansas City photography business has shifted to a focus on newborns and babies, I do still love my family portrait sessions! I love them even more when it’s a repeat client. Nothing thrills me more than getting to watch children grow up before my camera lens!
Today’s family session, which was shot early last month, is one such family. It had been a couple of years since their last session, and while these twins had definitely done some growing up in those two years, they also had become far easier to photograph!
Last time, we were chasing them back and forth along a little bridge, because it was the only way to get them smiling. This year? “Stand over there and look this way” Boom! Smiles! We caught a couple of serious looks too, which always melt my heart, but oh the smiles!
While my 2015 schedule for child/family portraits is now full, I do still have room for a couple of newborn or baby sessions before the end of the year! Stay tuned also for a really fun family session concept announcement in mid-December. You can be first to know by subscribing to my E-News!
