I love being given the opportunity to follow a baby, and their family, through an entire year of life! Watching them go from sleeping newborn, to gummy smiles, to first teeth, sitting up, and eventually standing and walking is such a joy! She’s grown so much! Gah! I just love her, and her sweet family! Below are some of the favorites from her one year session this past spring, which of course ended with cake…
So the cake… we never know how a 1 year old will react to their cake. I’ve had tears, I’ve had disinterest, I’ve had vomit, and I’ve had excitement that leads to messes. This round did not disappoint at all – hello excitement induced mess! It was so epic that I actually blogged a whole series of just her cake smash back in May (you can see that here)!
